ジェニファー英語教室では、これらのバランスが大切だと考え、生徒さんひとりひとりに合ったレッスンを心がけています。
↓Understanding
いろいろなカードを見せて、単語や文章の意味を理解してもらいます。
↓Listening
正しい発音をゆっくり聞いてもらいます。
もちろんCDを聞いてもらいますが、先生と目と目を合わせて口の正しい形をチェックします。
子ども達が聴いた言葉を自分で判断して、listeningテストを行ないます。
↓Reading
言葉の意味を理解して、正しい発音を聴いて、次は、読む事です。
いくつかの違う言葉に混ぜて、習った言葉を探すのが、readingの始まり!!
見つけたら、大きな声で、読んでもらいます。
理解しているので、楽しく絵本を読んでいます。
↓3才の愛ちゃんが、じょうずに簡単な英語の絵本や単語を読んだりします。
↓Speaking。
理解できて、正しく言えた習った言葉を会話に使う事が、speaking!!
相手に向かって、言葉を自分で表現して、しゃべる自信につながります。

言葉を自分の物にして紙に形にする事がwritingです。
自分の気に入った言葉を文にして、ストーリーを書きます。
子どもたちが、習った文法を使って、オリジナルストーリーを書いたりします。

Our Elementary A class
Students pick a letter on the left side of the board and connect it to the letters on the right to make a word.

Student 1 choose a picture from the picture book and make a sentence using the prepositions(on,in,under or near).Then, student 2 draws a picture.Children enjoy drawing while learning English at the same time!

Our Elementary A class
Today, students listened to a CD and wrote what they heard.The questions are the same but the answers are all different.After that, they read all the questions and answers by themselves.

Our Junior High School class(but most of them are still in elementary grade4)
Students look at the picture and do a short conversation.Student 1 asks a question and student 2 answers it.Student 1 make a follow-up question after student 2 answers the first question.
